Villar: No Senate compromise on Neri issue

PASAY CITY, Philippines--The Senate has chosen to let the Supreme Court decide on the constitutionality issues related to the Upper Chamber's power to call people to its inquiry bodies and to compel them to answer questions, instead of agreeing to the restricted Senate appearance of former economic planning secretary Romulo Neri as proposed by the high tribunal, Senate President Manuel Villar explains.
