I hate to say it as a Lions fan, but this guy is going to be long gone before the Lions ever get good enough to win with him.The Lions need help E V E R Y W H E R E. A decades worth of flushing 1st and 2nd Round draft picks down the toilet will take another 4-5 years to fix.You build winning teams through the draft and fine-tune them through free agency.Next year don't expect more than 4 wins, even if they hit gold on half of those awesome picks that we have :(

Roy was gone at the end of the year anyway, it was the last year on his contract and they would have had to franchise him to keep him. They got a 1st, 3rd and 6th out of the deal so it was one of the ONLY smart decisions the Lions have made in the last 8 years. You can find a #2 receiver pretty much anywhere in the draft... just look at guys like Deshaun Jackson, Eddie Royal and Donnie Avery

It'd be sweet if the lions could actually think when drafting players this year, seriously 2 1st round picks 2 2nd/3rd rounds i dont remember 2 6th round. but really #1 problem get an offensive line #2 problem get a qb #3 problem get a defensive line but really watch 2 wide recievers and a running back first three picks classic lions strategy............=^(
